A delightful circuit walk around the Kangaroo Ground area, starting and finishing at the Kangaroo Ground cemetery.
GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: Grade 3: Moderate 15 km circuit walk (graded according to the AWTGS: Australian Walking Tracks Grading System).
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:Â
The walk is on a combination of mostly quiet roads and walking tracks. Some lovely views across the Yarra Valley. Overall elevation across the walk around 300m. Boots recommended as there are some small creek crossings.
Bring lunch, sunscreen, boots, plenty of water, a hat and snacks. No dogs allowed.
Afternoon tea in a nearby cafe.

MEETING TIME | LOCATION: 9.00am at the Kangaroo Ground Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Kangaroo Ground.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
There is an option to take the 7.19am train from Flinders St Station towards Hurstbridge, alighting at Wattle Glen station at 8.33am. You will need to confirm with the leader if a lift is available from the station, in which case you will be collected at around 8.45am.
